RME ADI-648 Audio Digital Interface offers format conversion from MADI to ADAT and vice-versa. RME ADI-648 thus combines the world's most successful multi-channel interface with the professionals' exclusive high-end interface. MADI offers 64 channels of 24 bit audio at up to 48 kHz sample rate, and 32 channels at up to 96 kHz. Transmission happens over a single line, either coaxial (BNC) or fiber optic (network). In both cases the cable length can be more than 100 meters. The MADI channels are transferred from and to 8 ADAT optical inputs and 8 outputs via TOSLINK. Furthermore, RME ADI-648 contains an easy-configurable 8-channel 16x16 Matrix Router. Any of the outputs, which are divided into 8-channel blocks, can be fed from any 8-channel input block, both on the ADAT and the MADI side. With this, there is not only free routing within the M-A and the A-M conversion, but also splitting and routing within the same format. An 8-channel ...

RME AEB4-I PCI audio interface (Analog Expansion Board) adds 4 analog inputs in professional quality to all ADAT capable RME cards. Level adjustment +4 dBu/-10 dBV, 107 dBA SNR and a servo balanced input circuit deliver perfect sound and sonic clarity. The AEB4-I is designed for maximum flexibility. Both stereo inputs 1/2 3/4 are automatically copied to channels 5/6 and 7/8. Installation is done in a convenient manner using the supplied bracket, or - as no contact to any slot on the motherboard is needed - at any place inside the computer. Nuts for all TRS jacks and a drilling template are included. The AEB8-I offers 8 inputs with 4 stereo TRS jacks. Usual insert cable can be used to split the connectors from stereo jack to mono jacks. Level adjustment +4 dBu/-10 dBV, 107 dBA SNR and highest suppression of PC-noise guarantee perfect sound quality.Using the Analog Expansion Board is very easy to do, thanks to the clearly structured ...

Add extra analog inputs to your RME Hammerfall card! The RME AEB8-I PCI audio interface offers 8 inputs with 4 stereo TRS jacks. Usual insert cable can be used to split the connectors from stereo jack to mono jacks. Level adjustment +4 dBu/-10dBV, 107dBA S/N ratio and highest suppression of PC noise guarantee perfect sound quality.Using the AEB8-I Analog Expansion Board is very easy to do, thanks to the clearly structured and informative Settings dialog on the RME cards. The AEB8-I operates like any other converter with ADAT output, but is connected internally. The AEB8-I gets its clock from the DIGI (thus works as slave). To avoid a clock loop, switch your Hammerfall card into ""Master"".The AEB8-I is easy to install using the supplied bracket, or - as no contact to any slot on the motherboard is needed - at any other location inside the computer. Nuts for all TRS jacks and a drilling template are included.

RME PCI Interface Hammerfall DSP PCI Card is built on a Zero wait state PCI Busmaster core. Based on the legendary Hammerfall PCI core with its innovative zero CPU load technology the new PCI core is even more optimized for more performance. Thanks to the latest chip technology internal hi-speed RAM can be used faster and more efficient than external SRAM. The PCI card also contains 2 Sync-connectors for synchronization of multiple interfaces. RME PCI Interface Hammerfall DSP PCI Card offers highest compatibility by being 100% Plug & Play compatible under Windows and MacOS, and being able to share interrupts. The card itself will only use one interrupt (IRQ) for all functions (audio/MIDI.) With up to 130 MB/s transfer rate in both directions the maximum performance available on the 32 bit PCI bus is used. The connection between PCI card and I/O box is established using ordinary firewire cable (IEEE 1394, 6-pole.) The data transfer does not use Firewire pr ...

RME Hammerfall HDSP Laptop PCMCIA Interface delivers the same basic recitation that you would expect to find with a high-quality PCI card on a desktop computer - except it's for your laptop! Performance equals that of a desktop computer with notebook attached with the transfer rate ranging up to 130 MB/s in both directions. RME Hammerfall HDSP is also 100% Plug & Play compatible under Windows and MacOS, and being able to share interrupts. The connection between CardBus card and I/O box is established using ordinary firewire cable (closed LAN to IEEE 1394.) The data transfer does not use Firewire protocol, but RME's own proprietary bus protocol. The supplied cable is 4.5 m (15 ft) long; a cable length up to 10 m (33 ft) has been successfully tested. A specially designed Repeater can be used to reach cable lengths of up to 20 m (66 ft). The CardBus card does not provide power to the attached I/O-box.

The world's most successful analog/digital interface has become even better! RME Multiface 2 offers the best possible performance in terms of low-latency operation and CPU load, due to its PCI interface, which still surpasses current technologies like FireWire. Reason enough to apply the latest technological developments to an update of the Multiface, thus making a proven product even better. The new Multiface II stays 100% compatible with the current model's firmware and driver. It offers the same set of features, settings, and the same low-latency, zero-CPU-load performance. Some significant changes were made to the electrical circuitry, where several features of the Fireface have been incorporated: Hi-power headphone output with volume knob and 119 dBA SNR Analog input stages with improved CMRR, lower THD and increased S/N ratio by almost 10 dB Analog output stages with s ...

RME OctaMic ADC Analog to Digital Converter Card adds 8 channels of pristine 192 kHz AD-conversion, available as double ADAT output (S/MUX, up to 96 kHz), and simultaneously via DB-25 connector as 4 AES outputs (up to 192 kHz). RME OctaMic ADC can be clocked internally (master), and externally via word clock and AES sync. RME's outstanding SteadyClock ensures perfect AD-conversion, as jitter on the external sync-sources is nearly completely removed. All settings are done via DIP-switches on the back of the OctaMic D. Analog outputs and both digital outputs operate fully simultaneously. The choice of reference level affects the analog outputs only, the signal/clip indication and the AD-conversion will react only to the Gain-pots.
